Jennifer Evans

I came to know Jennifer when I had my agency back in the mid-2000s attending all the local startup events such as DemoCamp.
I’ve always been impressed by the multitude of businesses that Jennifer has run. Markeing, Communications, and News all in the digital space.

But what has impressed me more in recent years is Jennifer’s commitment to help up others. Her contribution to Seeds of Hope Foundation as well as her daily callouts on social media to help those who need homes, or food, or getting out of a tough financial situation are a reminder of what we take for granted that others deserve.

Jennifer is relentless with her time and generosity when it comes to helping others. She is a champion of social equality and fights to ensure people have a right to a safe space and dignity. We haven’t needed to help our fellow citizens now more than ever with COVID radically altering the economics of society and access to basic affordances such as public washrooms and water.

Following Jennifer on Twitter I have been shown what it truly means to have empathy for those in need and to see what true generosity means. Jennifer is not only someone I see as a leader in business but someone who leads in fighting social imbalances.

She is one of the people I look to when I feel like I don’t have the energy or the drive to change or fix things. I see the fundamental challenges so many people face every day in our city and it wakes me up to how fortunate I and my family are.

Thank you Jennifer for your unwavering energy and inspiration to help one another and make the city a more equitable place to live. It’s why you’re on My52.
