Poul Nielsen

Joyful with a serious work ethic is how I would describe Poul. I met him in my condominium gym years ago. Poul was a personal trainer and eventually moved into the same condominium. I started doing occasional training sessions with him and I was struck not only by his positivity and knowledge of human physiology but also the serious dedication is takes to transform yourself physically. He was starting his personal training business and already had a clear vision of what he wanted it to become.

Years later, Poul would invite me to participate in a mastermind group. Five entrepreneurs would meet regularly to share the challenges with their business and experiences to help others in the group. Poul was always prepared. He was diligent about the work he had completed since we last met and the commitments he would make until our next meeting.

He is incredibly thoughtful about the work that he does for himself and for his clients. There are no gains without a proper plan that is well executed on a daily basis. It is the continual commitment to improving himself and his business that has led Poul to be the successful owner of Nielsen Fitness. Now due to COVID, Nielsen Fitness has transitioned to a primarily remote personal training business. Poul took a disadvantage and pivoted to make Nielsen Fitness an even better success than it was before.

When I had training sessions with Poul, I was struck but how specific he was with his knowledge of human physiology and how it pertained to lifting weights. It gave me confidence in his instruction. Years later doing training sessions with his staff I’ve noticed they bring the same level of knowledge to the sessions. Poul has done a fantastic job of training his staff and ensuring that they embody the same values he does when working with Nielsen Fitness clients.

I strive to achieve the discipline and consistency that Poul demonstrates. I recommend him not only as the best personal trainer I’ve ever been instructed by but also as one of the best performing people I’ve had the pleasure to work with.
